Remember that day when I was like ooooh I was gonna blog about something but I don't remember? I remembered today!!!! It's showering!! Haha I don't really have all that much to say, but it's just that I thought that that topic had been lost FOR GOOD.

Anyhoo, SHOWERING!

It's very important; many people have specific showering needs. Some people must shower in the morning right when they wake up, some must shower before bed, and some must shower immediately after exercising. Some people have an intense need to shower daily, others have friends who wish they would shower daily.

My roommate, for example, will not leave the apartment until after she has showered. This could mean she doesn't shower until late afternoon, but if she leaves, she has definitely showered beforehand. Given that every shower she takes is at the minimum, 35 minutes, this can cause some minor problems. One time she pushed back a meeting with a professor precisely because she woke up late and had not showered. I can't imagine thinking that being incredibly clean is such a huge need that postponement of a meeting with a professor would be necessary.

For me, I try to shower every day, preferably after EXERCISE! :D I usually do, unless I am going through a period where I am extremely unmotivated to exercise. My goal is to exercise at least once a day, even if it is just for 10 minutes. That typically means, if the day ends and I haven't managed to squeeze in some sort of physical activity, I will most likely be showering the next day. Excepting extenuating circumstances, I do not go for 2 days sans shower because my hair will start to look like it will shortly be greasy.

Showering feels really good but it is such a hassle to get in and out of your clothes, especially when it's cold. =/ (btws it has been faaareezing this week in Philly! it's terrible!!) And then afterwards my skin is all dry, especially if it's after swimming. And lotion takes forever -_- I wish it would just apply itself. Haha I bet that's what so many parents tell themselves. Little Skylar would be so successful if he would just apply himself!
